Vortex: 2nd round of the 2007 International Open Master – Ugento 20th, 21st e 22nd April

The second round of the Open Master, planned for next Sunday on the Apulian track in Ugento, is considered as a meaningful test bench for our engines. The Vortex, committed to very important teams, such as Tony Kart, Kosmic and FA, will be subjected to very binding weather conditions, that so far never assisted us in this first period of the season. Even during the tests of last week, ever in Ugento, both the RVX and the newest RAV expressed themselves with optimal performances, brilliantly standing the quite high temperatures, without complaining of the minimum reliability problem. The second round of the Open Master represents the official test bench, with warm conditions and with an intense rhythm of such an important competition, everything will assume a different meaning. The team is confident of having worked in the best way, comforted also by the results that our engines have been gaining from the beginning of the season. We look forward to seeing what our drivers are going to do. First of all Gary Catt and Will Stevens, who are at the top of the ratings of the Open, respectively in KF1 and in KF2. Other standard-bearers of ours arrive to this second Italian competition strong by the optimal results gained recently, like Bailly’s victory in Essay (France) in KF3 and the double leadership in WSK, with Trancon (KF2) and Koukzin (KF3). The situation in KZ2 is very good as well, the RVX showed to have such a great potential, allowing Ardigň and Jeleniowski to aim with determination to the Open Master title.

“Last week we made some tests and, which went well, we didn’t modify the set-up of the karts drastically, in comparison with what we did until now. We made little set-up interventions, due to the track particularity. Now we are exploiting this favourable period to obtain data, in order to operate and refine what we have now. Our engines won in France with Bailly and in Spain at the WSK with the Imparato Team in KF3, we are gaining good results!”.
