The very good work carried out in Pavia’s factory, led by Giovanni Corona, took the very new RAD engines to the top of SKF temporary classification, with the success of Marco Ardigò (Tony Kart Racing Team) in the first round and of Armand Convers (Kosmic Kart Racing Team) in the second one, where the podium was controlled by Vortex engines, completing with Gary Catt’s third place.
The results in KF2 category were as well positive; thanks to the success of Ignazio D’Agosto in the official WSK Euro Series’ trial in La Conca, RAD engines had a leading role: whether mounted on chassis of FA Kart, the Ricky Flynn Motorsport’s Team, or on chassis of the the other very good team partner, the Ward Racing, both reached an important podium in the Lonato’s competition, too (Nortoft 2nd and Klinkby 3rd).
We also find Vortex engines in the final classification and even though in KF3 and KZ categories the podium was missed, engines evidenced their high competitiveness and reliability. Statistical data prove the good job made for the new engines. Zuera’s results, the third WSK Euro Cup’s event, show how Vortex engines are the most appreciated amongst teams and drivers. It is enough to consider that in KF2 and KF3 categories, 34,4% of the engines are Vortex RAD as well as in KZ1 and KZ2 categories 18,8% are RVXX.
A real success, demonstrating the very good performances, the very high competitiveness and the top manufacturing process of all these engines, in any conditions.
PROTAGONISTS’ OPINION
Vortex Manager Giovanni Corona:
“We just confirmed the performances already shown during the first competition in La Conca, on a circuit with different technical features, as it is for Lonato’s one. This was a good test for our engines to prove their versatility and a warranty for us, confirming the good job we made until now”
