Vortex is champion of the WSK Super Master Series 2026

On the occasion of the fifth and final round in Franciacorta, the OTK Kart Group’s ‘engine division’ gains a podium finish in the MINI Gr.3 final, confirming the category title and also takes the third place in the MINI Gr.3 U10 championship.

MINI Gr.3 – The VTM unit finishes the championship, along the Franciacorta event, at best. The weekend begins with the second-fastest time in Group 2 of the qualifyings, set by Zane Pace (Tony Kart Racing Team), continuing with a win, a third place and a fastest lap in the heats. He also secures a second place in the B Pre-final.

In the final, Pace is among the protagonists: the Maltese driver performs an excellent start, remains firmly in the leading group and finishes in second place. With this result and a total of 367 points, the Tony Kart Racing Team driver wins the category title.

Alvaro Medeiros (Tony Kart Racing Team) moves up six places from his starting position and finishes ahead of his team-mate Alfie Richard Mair (Tony Kart Racing Team). Also competing in the final are Nahil Padovani (Tony Kart Racing Team), Farel Beretta Dugat (Tony Kart Racing Team) and David Aagten (Tony Kart Racing Team).

MINI Gr.3 U10 – In the Under-10 category too, the Vortex VTM ends the championship with a notable result. Our engine wins the A Pre-Final on Sunday morning with Blake Hsueh (Tony Kart Racing Team), who manages to climb twelve places, and finishes the final in the top 10. The American driver finishes third in the overall standings, thanks to a total of 276 points.

OK – In a category featuring a total of 81 entrants, the “Senior” engines opens Friday with a second place in Group 1 of the qualifyings; they then run straight to the double win, double third-place finish and a fastest lap in the qualifying heats, too.

Iskender Zulfikari (Tony Kart Racing Team) is the team’s leading driver in the final, crossing the finish line in the top 10. Gilles Herman (Tony Kart Racing Team) shows off a remarkable performance with a comeback of seventeen places, finishing ahead of Jindřich Pešl (Tony Kart Racing Team) in the standings. Thomas Pradier (Tony Kart Racing Team) also lines up on the starting grid for the final race of the weekend.

OKJ – The Vortex engines also excel in the “Junior” category, setting the fastest lap in Group 1 of the qualifyings and securing a second place as their best finish in the qualifying heats. In the final, Julian Frasnelli (Tony Kart Racing Team) gains twelve places, fights relentlessly at the front of the field and narrowly misses out on the podium.

Oiva Vettenranta (Tony Kart Racing Team) and Stepan Mazepin (Tony Kart Racing Team) also prove to improve in Sunday afternoon’s race, recovering sixteen and fourteen places, respectively. Jean Poujol (Tony Kart Racing Team) also runs the final.

OKJ-N – The Vortex VTS-N ends the championship, powering Augustin Feligioni’s chassis (Tony Kart Racing Team) in the final, able to climb not less than nine places, and Victor Thomas Gorun (Tony Kart Racing Team), who finishes first in his Saturday’s warm-up session.
