14-10-2026

The OTK Kart Group's "engine division" has achieved the third edition of the international event for the OK-N and OK-N Junior categories, held at the Leopard Circuit in Viterbo, Italy.

OK-N - The Vortex VTS-N opens the weekend with Jenson Eric Burns (Tony Kart Racing Team) setting the second-fastest time in his free practice session, followed by the Australian securing third place in the first qualifying group. The engine from the OTK Kart Group's 'engine division' achieves a third-place finish as its best result in the qualifying heats and secures a top-five finish in the Super Heat for Pool 2.

The final sees Lucas Bonhomme (Bonhomme, Laurent) as our leading driver. Starting from the sixth row of the grid, the French driver remains in contention for a top-10 finish throughout the race. Albert Lapper (Tony Kart Racing Team) shows off with a strong performance with a comeback of eleven places. Burns and Mike Parhiala (Tony Kart Racing Team), on the other hand, are hampered by several incidents in the early stages, which affect their race.

OK-N Junior - In the Junior class, the Vortex VTS-N performs well in the qualifying heats with Can Günfer Tüzüner (Tony Kart Racing Team) and Valentino Manassero (Tony Kart Racing Team), but a difficult second heat for both compromises their chances of achieving a positive result by the end of the weekend.

Academy-Junior - The event in Viterbo also marks the end of the FIA Karting Academy Trophy-Junior, the series organised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), in which OTK Kart Group supplies all participants with Exprit Kart chassis and Vortex Engines. In Sunday's final, Max Sulin (Finland) claimed victory, ahead of John Han (Hong Kong) and Takeru Shimbashi (Japan), who finishes second and third respectively. Han wins the title, topping the overall standings with 208 points.
